‘A Scoop of Pelicans’ 
When pelicans assemble to make up a group,
They’re sometimes described as being a ‘scoop’;
The reason you’ll find, should you think to ask it,
Is their bills are equipped with a pouch or basket:
A receptacle used, when the pelican wishes, 
To scoop up substantial helpings of fishes.
And should you wonder just how-in-hell he can
Well, it’s simply a knack known to every pelican.
